Ranthambore offers two safari shifts daily — Morning and Afternoon/Evening. Timings change seasonally based on sunrise and sunset. The park remains open from 1st October to 30th June and is closed during monsoon (July–September).

What is a Full-Day Safari?

Experience the wild without boundaries. Full-day and half-day safaris allow you to stay inside the park from sunrise to sunset, moving between different zones to follow tiger movement.

Best Time to Visit Ranthambore

Pleasant weather (10°C – 25°C). Good tiger sightings. Most popular with tourists. Book well in advance.

Hot (35°C – 45°C) but highest tiger sighting probability. Animals gather near water bodies. Fewer tourists, easier bookings.

Fresh greenery after monsoon. Moderate weather. Good for photography but dense vegetation may reduce visibility.

Key Points to Remember

You must report at the park gate at least 30-45 minutes before the scheduled safari time. Late arrivals may miss the entry window.

All visitors must carry a valid government-issued photo ID (Aadhaar, Passport, Voter ID, or Driving License). Foreign nationals must carry their Passport.

An e-permit is mandatory for all safari visitors. We handle the permit booking for you — just share your details while booking.

Gypsy (6 seats): Open-top jeep for core & buffer zones. Canter (20 seats): Open-top bus for core zones only. Gypsy offers a more premium, flexible safari experience.
